Wood framed construction is one of the most popular types of building methods for homes in Europe. It is light, allows quick construction and can be clad with a variety of materials. There are a significant variety of products to be used for this type of construction.
Construction
Timber frame structure is made of a few basic components.
- Siding is the exterior cladding that covers the walls from the outside.
- Sheathing are the sheets that are nailed over the studs to connect them securely and form the wall surfaces.
- Rafters are the sloping wooden beams that support the roof.
- Joists are the horizontal wooden beams that support the floors.
- Studs are vertical wooden members within the walls.
Interior
Due to relatively small space, kitchen is made functional with all necessary appliances for comfortable and fully operational use. Heated floor in bathroom, tiles in kitchen and parquet in living area makes living comfortable. Several interior wall decoration materials available: paint, tiles or planks.
